Our commitment
We do not want to know who you are, and we do not need to watch what you do on our website. Everything you see on lombardprivate.com, including texts, images, fonts, icons, scripts and live reference prices, is served from our own domain. Nothing is loaded from an analytics provider, an advertising network, a social network or a content delivery network that could follow you from site to site.
What we never use
- Cookies, whether our own or set by third parties.
- Analytics or audience-measurement tools, including self-hosted ones.
- Advertising, retargeting or conversion pixels.
- Social-network buttons, embedded videos, maps or chat widgets.
- Fonts or scripts loaded from other domains.
- Browser fingerprinting, session recording or heat maps.
What is stored in your browser
To save you from re-entering the same choices, our website keeps three preferences in your browser’s local storage. They stay on your device: they are never sent to our servers, they do not identify you, and our website works normally without them.
| Name | What it contains | Why |
|---|---|---|
lp.sim | Your last simulation: asset, currency, loan-to-value and amount | To show the same figures when you come back |
lp.ccy | The display currency you chose | To show amounts in your currency |
lp.video | Whether you paused the background video | To respect your choice on your next visit |
You can delete them at any time by clearing the site data for lombardprivate.com in your browser settings. Private-browsing windows delete them automatically when closed.
What our servers keep
Our servers do not record your IP address. To display a page, your browser necessarily sends technical information with each request, such as the address of the page requested and the type of browser; we use it only to deliver the page. We do not use it to build a profile of you or to follow your visits.
Like any website, our pages travel over the internet: the network and security providers that deliver them and protect them against attacks process connection data, including IP addresses, to route traffic. They do so on our behalf, under contract, and only for that purpose.
In your client area
When you sign in to your client area, a strictly necessary session identifier keeps you signed in. It is used for nothing else and is deleted when you sign out or your session expires. We record the date and time of your sign-ins and the sessions open on your account so that you can review and close them; we do not record IP addresses. See our privacy notice for details.
Check it yourself
You do not have to take our word for it. In any desktop browser, open the developer tools (usually with the F12 key) on any page of our website:
- In the Network panel, reload the page: every request goes to lombardprivate.com, and to no other domain.
- In the Application or Storage panel, the cookies section for our domain is empty; local storage contains at most the three preferences listed above.
- In the response headers of the page, the Content-Security-Policy instructs your browser to refuse any script, style, font or image from another origin:
default-src 'self'; base-uri 'self'; form-action 'self'; frame-ancestors 'none'; object-src 'none'; img-src 'self' data:; upgrade-insecure-requests
Tracker-blocking browser extensions will find nothing to block on our pages.
Leaving our website
Links to other websites, such as public block explorers, take you off lombardprivate.com. Those websites have their own practices, which may include cookies and tracking.
Changes to this statement
If we ever needed to change any of the practices described here, we would update this statement before making the change and tell you in your client area.
