Interest
Interest is your only regular cost. It is expressed as an all-in annual percentage rate (APR), accrues daily on what you owe and is paid monthly or at the end of the loan, as you prefer. It is simple interest: never charged on interest.

Payout costs
Payouts in euros by SEPA or SEPA Instant, and in pounds by Faster Payments, are free. Payouts by SWIFT (US dollars and Swiss francs outside their home countries), Fedwire (US accounts) and SIC (Swiss accounts) are charged at cost: the charge our bank applies to the transfer, passed on without margin and shown in your client area before you confirm. With SWIFT, intermediary banks may also deduct their own charges before the funds reach you; they are outside our control. See payouts for timings by currency.
Network fees
Every blockchain transaction pays a fee to the network, not to us. When you deposit or top up collateral, the network fee is paid by the wallet you send from, at the level you choose in that wallet. When we return your collateral, or when you withdraw collateral you no longer need, the network fee for that transaction is passed on at cost and shown before you confirm.
Liquidation fees
Liquidation fees apply only if collateral actually has to be sold: 1% of the amount sold in a partial liquidation, and 2% of the amount sold in a full liquidation. They are deducted from the sale proceeds. If €10,000 of collateral is sold in a partial liquidation, the fee is €100. Our liquidation policy explains when a sale happens and how much is sold.
Meeting a margin call is free
There is no fee for an early warning, for a margin call you meet, for a top-up or for a repayment. Acting in time costs nothing.

Fees: straight answers.

Help centreAre there any hidden fees?
No. This page lists every charge we can apply. Borrowing, holding your collateral and repaying cost nothing beyond interest. Wires by SWIFT, Fedwire or SIC are charged at cost, network fees for returning collateral at cost, and liquidation fees only apply if collateral has to be sold.
What does “at cost” mean?
It is the charge our bank or the blockchain network applies to the transaction, passed on to you without any margin. It is always shown in your client area before you confirm.
Who pays the network fee when I deposit collateral?
The wallet that sends the deposit pays the network fee, as with any blockchain transfer. You choose that fee in your own wallet; we do not receive it and add nothing to it.
Do you charge to give my collateral back?
We charge nothing for releasing your collateral. The blockchain network fee for the transfer is passed on at cost and shown before you confirm.
When are liquidation fees charged?
Only when collateral is actually sold: 1% of the amount sold in a partial liquidation, 2% in a full liquidation. There is no fee for an early warning, a margin call that you meet, a top-up or a repayment.
How will I know if fees change?
Any change to this schedule is announced in your client area before it takes effect, and never applies to a charge already incurred. This page always shows the schedule in force.
