Currencies and payment systems
The fastest route to your account.
We send each payout by the payment system your account can receive. Instant systems run around the clock; the others on business days.

Your payout account
The only personal detail we need.
A bank transfer needs a beneficiary, so the account that receives your loan is the one detail you give us. Add it in your client area, check it twice, and keep it up to date.
- Euros
- IBAN
- Pounds sterling
- Sort code and account number
- US dollars
- ABA routing and account number, or SWIFT/BIC and account number
- Swiss francs
- IBAN, plus SWIFT/BIC outside Switzerland
- Beneficiary name
- Exactly as your bank holds it
Name checks
In the euro area, banks check that the beneficiary name matches the IBAN, a service called Verification of Payee; in the UK, Confirmation of Payee does the same. A mismatch can delay or stop a payment, so enter the name exactly as it appears on your bank statement.
- Save an account for each currency you want to receive, in your client area.
- Changing it requires your second factor if you have enabled a passkey or an authenticator app.
- New details apply to future payouts only; nothing already sent is affected.
- We never ask for account details by message. They are entered by you, in your client area.
Timing
From confirmed collateral to cash in your account.
Most of the time is spent waiting for the blockchain to confirm your deposit. After that, an instant payment takes seconds.
| Collateral | Credited after |
|---|---|
| Bitcoin | 2 confirmationsabout 20 minutes on average |
| Ether, USDT and USDC on Ethereum | 64 blocksabout 13 minutes |
| USDT on Tron | 20 blocksabout 1 minute |
| SOL, USDC on Solana | Finalisationunder a minute |
Your collateral is confirmed
The deposit to your loan’s address reaches the required confirmations and appears on your loan in the client area.
Your loan is sent
We send the payout to your nominated account, by the fastest payment system it can receive.
The payment travels
Seconds by SEPA Instant or Faster Payments, around the clock. By SWIFT, Fedwire or SIC, on business days: a payout sent late on a Friday usually arrives the next week.
It reaches your account
Your bank credits the funds, sometimes after its own checks. The payout statement is already in your client area.
Credit lines
Draw what you need, when you need it.
With a Lombard credit line, you do not have to take the whole amount at once. Each draw is a separate payout to your account.
Several payouts
Draw any amount up to the limit your collateral allows, in as many payouts as you like, each to your nominated account.
Interest from the day of each draw
Interest only accrues on what you have drawn, from the day each payout is sent. Nothing is charged on the unused part of your limit.
Repay and draw again
Repaying restores your available limit. Draw again later without a new application and without a fee.
Your bank
If your bank asks about the transfer.
Banks sometimes ask customers about an incoming payment, particularly a large one. It is routine, and the answer is simple: it is the proceeds of a loan secured by your own assets.
- Your loan agreement, downloadable from your client area.
- A payout statement for each transfer, with its amount, date and reference.
- Repayment and closing statements once you repay.
Returned payments
If a payment comes back.
A receiving bank can return a payment, for example because of incorrect details or a closed account. Nothing is lost.
- The amount is credited back to your loan when we receive it, and stops bearing interest from that day.
- Correct your details and request a new payout, or keep it as a repayment.
- Your bank’s decisions are its own: it may delay, query or return a payment, whatever the payment system.

Help centreHow long does a payout take?
Once your collateral is confirmed, your loan is typically sent within the hour. Euros by SEPA Instant and pounds by Faster Payments then usually arrive within seconds or minutes, around the clock. Payments by SWIFT, Fedwire or SIC move on business days, and your bank’s own processing may add time.
Do you charge for payouts?
Payouts by SEPA, SEPA Instant and Faster Payments are free. Payouts by SWIFT, Fedwire and SIC are charged at cost: the charge our bank applies to the transfer, passed on without margin and shown before you confirm. With SWIFT, intermediary banks may also deduct their own charges.
Can I receive my loan in a different currency from my collateral?
Yes. Whatever you pledge, you can receive euros, US dollars, pounds sterling or Swiss francs. Keep in mind that collateral is priced in dollars on the market, so a loan in another currency also moves with the exchange rate.
Why must the beneficiary name match exactly?
Banks increasingly check that the name on a payment matches the account it is sent to: Verification of Payee in the euro area and Confirmation of Payee in the UK. Enter the name exactly as your bank holds it, to avoid a payment being delayed or stopped.
My bank asked where the money comes from. What can I show?
Your client area lets you download your loan agreement and a statement for each payout, showing the amount, the date and the reference. They document that the funds are the proceeds of a loan secured by your own collateral.
What happens if a payout is returned?
If the receiving bank sends a payment back, for example because of incorrect details, the amount is credited back to your loan when we receive it. You can then correct your details and request a new payout, or simply keep it as a repayment.
Can I change my payout account?
Yes, in your client area. If you have enabled a passkey or an authenticator app, the change requires it. New details apply to future payouts only.
