Privacy by design
The safest personal data is the data we never collect.
A Lombard Private loan needs almost nothing about you: no identity documents, no email, no phone number. Your account is a number. Here is exactly what we hold, what we don’t, and why.
- No KYC: no ID, selfie or proof of address
- No email, no phone number
- No cookies, analytics or third-party scripts
- No IP addresses recorded by our servers
Your data
Never asked, and all we hold.
Data that is never collected cannot leak, be sold or be demanded. We built the service around that idea.
Never asked
- Passport or ID card
- Selfie or video call
- Email address
- Phone number
- Proof of address
- Date of birth, nationality
- Payslips or credit check
- Source-of-wealth forms
All we hold
- Account number and a password hash
- Sign-in factors you choose to add
- Collateral addresses and their transactions
- Return address you designate
- Payout account: beneficiary and number
- Contract, interest and payments
- Messages with your advisors
The only name we ever see is the beneficiary name of the bank account you choose for your payout: a bank transfer cannot be sent without one.
This website
Nothing to track, nothing to sell.
You can browse, compare rates and price a loan without leaving a trace with us or with anyone else.
No cookies, no banner
We set no cookies at all, which is why you never see a cookie banner here.
No analytics
No analytics, tracking pixels, advertising tags or session recording. We do not measure your visit.
Nothing from third parties
Fonts, images and code are served from lombardprivate.com. No external scripts, fonts, maps, videos or social widgets.
Preferences stay with you
Your last simulation, display currency and video preference are kept in your browser’s local storage, on your device, and never sent to us.
No IP address logs
Our servers do not record the IP addresses of visitors.
Discreet outbound links
When you follow a link to another site, it learns only that you came from lombardprivate.com, not which page you were reading.
Beyond us
What your bank and the blockchain can see.
Privacy has limits we do not control. You should know them before you borrow.
- Your bank sees an incoming transfer with its amount, date, sender details and reference, and may ask you where it comes from. Your loan agreement and payout statement, in your client area, answer that question.
- When you repay by transfer, your bank sees an outgoing payment to us.
- The blockchain is public: anyone who knows your collateral address can see its balance and movements, but not who you are.
- The wallet or exchange you send from knows where your collateral went. An exchange account in your name links you to that deposit.
Requests from authorities
If we receive a legally valid request, we must comply. But we can only disclose what we hold, and we cannot hand over an identity, an email address or a phone number that we never collected.
Never sold, never profiled
We do not sell data and we hold none that could be used for marketing. We never use your data to profile you or to decide anything other than your loan.
Minimisation and retention
Only what the loan and the law require.
Each item has a reason to exist. When a record is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

Privacy: straight answers.

Help centreDo you really not know who I am?
We never ask for your name, an identity document, an email address or a phone number. The only personal detail involved is the beneficiary of the bank account you choose for your payout, because a bank transfer cannot be sent without one.
Why do you need my bank account details?
To send you the loan. A transfer needs a beneficiary name and an account number; we use them for your payouts and keep them with your loan records, nothing more.
Do you use cookies or analytics?
No. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or embedded content, which is why there is no cookie banner. Your last simulation and display currency are kept in your own browser’s local storage and are never sent to us.
Do you record my IP address?
Our servers do not record visitors’ IP addresses, and we use no analytics or tracking service that could record them for us.
Do you sell or share data?
We do not sell data, and we hold none that could be used for marketing. When we send a payout, the banks involved receive the details a transfer requires. Beyond that, we would only disclose data where the law obliges us to, and only what we hold.
Can authorities obtain my data from you?
If we receive a legally valid request, we must comply, but we can only disclose what we hold: the items listed on this page. We cannot provide an identity, an email address or a phone number that we never collected.
