How we contact you

We will never email, text or call you. Ever.

We do not have your email address or your phone number, so any message claiming to come from us outside your client area is not from us. The only place we speak to you is your client area, at lombardprivate.com.

  • No email, no texts, no calls
  • No messaging apps or social networks
  • Never your password, codes or recovery kit
  • One address: lombardprivate.com

One channel

How we contact you, and how we never will.

Because we hold no contact details, impostors cannot reach you through us. They can only pretend to be us. Here is how to tell.

The short list

What we will never ask you.

Not by message, not in your client area, not in an emergency. If a request matches any line on this list, it is not from us.

When in doubt, stop, close the message, and open your client area from your own bookmark.

  • Your password, in any form, for any reason.
  • Your recovery kit, or any part of it.
  • A one-time code, or to approve a sign-in you did not start.
  • Your wallet’s recovery phrase or private keys: we never need them.
  • To install software or give anyone remote access to your device.
  • To send crypto to an address that is not shown in your client area.
  • To pay a fee to “unlock”, “release” or “verify” your funds or your account.
  • To move to a “new” or “secure” website, or to any other domain.

Know the tricks

How impostors operate.

Fraudsters copy names, logos and tone of voice. These are the patterns to recognise.

  • Fake emails and texts

An urgent margin call, a “suspended” account, a request to “verify” your details. We have neither your email nor your number, so these are always fake.

  • Look-alike websites

Addresses with an extra word, a hyphen, another ending or a swapped letter, often promoted through adverts or search results.

  • Fake advisors online

Profiles using our name and logo on social networks or in chat groups, offering help, better rates or a quick loan.

  • Swapped deposit addresses

A message with a “new” deposit address, or malware that replaces an address you copy. Only the address in your client area counts.

  • Fake support numbers

Numbers posted online as our “helpline”. We have no phone line: any number claiming to be ours is fraudulent.

  • Recovery scams

People who promise to recover a lost account or lost funds for a fee. Without your recovery kit, nobody can restore access.

Before you sign in

Make sure you are on the real site.

  1. Type it, or use your bookmark

Open lombardprivate.com by typing it or from your bookmark, not from a link in a message, an advert or a search result.

  2. Read the address bar

The domain just before the first slash must be exactly lombardprivate.com. Anything added before or after it is another website.

  3. Don’t rely on the padlock alone

It shows that the connection is encrypted, not who you are talking to: fake sites can have one too.

  4. Let your passkey decide

A passkey only works on lombardprivate.com. If your device does not offer it on a sign-in page, stop and check the address.

https://lombardprivate.com/securityGenuine
https://lombardprivate.com.verify-id.example/Fake
https://lombard-private.example/Fake
The real domain is always the part just before the first single slash. The fake examples use the reserved “.example” ending and do not exist.

If you were contacted

What to do, step by step.

Acting quickly limits the damage. None of these steps requires you to reply to the impostor.

Report it to us

Send us a secure message from your client area and choose the Security topic. Include who contacted you, the link, address or number used, and a screenshot if you have one.

  1. Right away

    Don’t engage

Don’t reply, click, call back or scan a code. Keep the message as evidence.

  2. Within minutes

    If you entered your details

Sign in at lombardprivate.com from your bookmark, change your password, sign out other sessions and replace your recovery kit if you shared it.

  3. As soon as possible

    If you sent funds

Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. Tell us anyway, and consider reporting the fraud to the police where you live.

  4. From your client area

    Tell us

Your report helps us understand the scam. We read every message, 7 days a week.

Questions

Help centre

I received an email from Lombard Private. Is it genuine?

No. We do not have your email address and we never send emails to clients. Do not click its links or open its attachments; you can report it to us from your client area.

Someone called me saying they work for Lombard Private. What should I do?

Hang up. We never call clients and we have no phone line. A caller who knows details about you may have obtained them elsewhere; that does not make the call genuine.

Do you have a Telegram, WhatsApp or Discord support channel?

No. We do not offer support, sales or announcements through messaging apps or social networks. Anyone contacting you there in our name is an impostor.

How do I contact Lombard Private?

From your client area, by secure message. Human advisors answer 7 days a week. It is the only channel we use, in both directions.

A website looks exactly like yours. How can I tell?

Check that the domain just before the first slash is exactly lombardprivate.com, and open the site from a bookmark rather than from a link. If you use a passkey, your device will not offer it on a fake site.

I think someone has access to my account. What should I do?

Sign in from your bookmark, change your password, sign out every other session and check your second factors, then write to us from your client area. If you can no longer sign in, use your recovery kit.

Borrow without handing over your details.

No email, no phone, no documents. Your account is a number, and we only ever speak to you inside it.
